DIY with the help of the dollar store

I spent $5.00 today at the dollar store in order to create a few masterpieces. Rocks, candles, and glass vases= $1.00 EA

I have been reading a lot in my other room and lately have had to haul in a few candles each time.  I figured now I can just keep these on the window sill. 

Then I played with some crayons...

When I took my blow dryer out to melt them, I first had it on the highest setting. Wax was flying everywhere after only 2 seconds.

Part of me wishes I would have called it done at the first picture above. But no, I kept blow drying.

I hung it up in my bathroom with a quote on it.

Then I didn't like the look.  If I stare at it too long, it looks like a paint can accident. But I feel like if I melted the crayons longer and filled up the entire canvas with some neat colors, it  would have more potential!!!

Nothing beats the first time I tried to create a coaster.
