Bieber Fever

Last night Nat and I laughed as we were buying a movie ticket to Justin Bieber's Never Say Never movie, especially when we were handed our 3D glasses and entered the theatre to find young little Bieber Fans.  However, this movie rocked our worlds. Leave it to me to cry at 5 different spots during the movie...He is a great kid though (16 years old) with a great story.  It truly shows the influence of the internet and youtube.  They talked about how more kids are spending time on the computer these days instead of watching tv. This is kind of scary unless parents are really monitoring what sites their children are visiting.
I also like that he can do more than just sing- he plays the drums, piano, and guitar. The video I posted is a good slow song.  I will admit, at 22 years old, I caught the Bieber Fever.  There are far worse people to like.  It doesn't help that Usher helped him get to be where he is. I am also a huge Usher fan.  (My Mom remembers his concert with Janet Jackson all too well when he got down to his briefs-she covered my eyes).  One thing I don't understand are the die-hard young fans he has. Everyone thinks they are going to marry him and they have a sense of ownership.  When I was a huge Backstreet Boys fan, and even went to their concert for my 13th birthday, the farthest I went was making a sign for my favorite one of the five hunks(and this was only because we had the 8th row or something. Thank God Lindsey and I had different fav's otherwise it may have caused a lot of tension.

And this is him as a toddler...

p.s. In the next 5 years I hope 3D films are standard protocol.  I love feeling like you are in the same room as the people on the screen. Even seeing opening credits float over people in the theatre amazes me.  I also hope the cost of having a 3D tv decreases so  my frugal self can justify the purchase.

Nat was really good at the whole dancing in this pic with the 3D glasses.  I on the other hand look like I am trying to figure out what is one our ceiling.  I cut off my hands because it looked like I was casting a spell.
