Championship Chuck Wagon Races- Clinton, AR

First year you are a spectator, second year you are in the thick of things amongst the 30,000  rednecks.  We may have found a new hobby.  We may be recruiting spectators next year to camp out for the entire 6 days.  We may be buying horses so we can sit on them down on the field.  We may even build our own chuck wagon that may come apart like a $2.00 tuxedo.  (This happened that Saturday)  Our chuck wagon may completely run over 2 horses and require the horse ambulance. (This also happened).  Our horse may buck us off before the starting line on the very first race of the day and require us to be escorted away in an ambulance (This happened too).  Our horses may lead our chuck wagon straight into the crowd of of horses and wagons and create an entire mess (This happened).  Our outrider may take off and run the race before we get on (This happened a lot).

When you mix a lot of beer, horses, homemade wagons, Arkansas slang, and spurs, you are bound to laugh at least 52 times.
I don't care where I am next labor day, I can bet I will be making it back to Clinton, AR.

If any of these videos are upside down for you...you might want to get to the doctor.
