How youu doinnn'
Between the hydrocodone and ice I am doing great. I woke up a chunky cheekers today. Call me Miss Puffer fish.
My wizzies! They are huge. I can't believe they actually fit in my mouth. I can already feel the rest of my teeth lovin' the rearrangement.
I wonder why God made wisdom teeth if most of us end up getting them taken out anyway. Maybe it is so we can have the pleasure of looking this beautiful for a day or three. I just searched "wisdom teeth removal" on youtube and watched a few videos. I do not recommend it.

Bring...It...On.....ok wait not yet.
Friday I hope to have a picture just like this only of my hand and my wisdom teeth. Except he has to BREAK my two BOTTOM ones in order to get them OUT. I keep trying to say that and make it sound like a pleasant experience. I haven't succeeded yet. I am very scared but I haven't had a nightmare yet. There is still plenty of time for that. And to think I wanted to be AWAKE during all this. No way. According to the Dr. I will be the "drunkest" girl in Winona. Is that a professional statement or what? Very comforting.

Why so blue?
Does a change of eye color make a person look completely different? I think when I go back for the fitting I am going with green.
JEEP
Can you believe this is the inside of the new Wrangler? Sure is swanky! How do you go through mud and not feel bad getting this dirty?! I don't even think a snorkel and leather can be seen together.
Aren't these swanky too? Would it be too much to wear Jeep boots too?
Cuties!!

Wedding!
Last Saturday I was at the most intimate wedding. It was gorgeous. Kaitlin and Nick dated all throughout high school in Woodbury and college at Winona. It was at the Five Event Center in Minneapolis which was PERFECT for them! Here are some pics. We enjoyed ourselves...and her billy ball flowers.
I don't remember what song was playing but it must have been a favorite.
Stuck at the pump.
I was thinking last night about what I was going to blog about next. I didn't want to waste time telling you that I still buy iced coffee's even though it is crazy cold outside. Or that I had the quickest return of my life at Target on Tuesday-the guy returned my shoes and handed over my the stapled receipt in no more than 7 seconds. (I even have a witness!).
I could tell you that last night I went to bed at 10 PM with a nasty cough and woke up what I thought was 7 hours later feeling completely refreshed only to realize the clock read 11:11 PM. Isn't that amazing. Before I went back to bed I rubbed Vicks Vapor Rub all over my feet and put on a pair of socks. I had read an e-mail over the summer that the pores in your feet are extremely absorbent and that this works like a charm! Well I am never sick so I figured I would never get the neat opportunity to try this out. Well last night I FINALLY GOT TO!!! It wasn't even 5 minutes and my cough was gone and I didn't wake up once! It really works. Weird though.
I feel like I truly have a Duber's Daily Duty to report...
I left the Jeep at Kwik Trip today for a 4 hour play date with the gas pumps. Not by choice. I went to fill up my tank over my 30 minute lunch break only to lock my keys inside. On any other day I could have ran the 10 blocks back to the office but I made about 5 phone calls and everyone was either at class or work so I called my supervisor who swung on over and saved me.
When I went inside Kwik Trip to tell the workers, they made me feel a little better when they said that I wasn't the only one who had done this GENIUS move. My spare key was sitting in the apartment which Nat kindly delivered when she picked me up from work!

3 truths and a lie
1)I have clean sheets but have yet to put them on my bed
2)I have been snacking on refrigerated sugar cookie dough all week
3)I woke up Thursday morning with both arms fully asleep
4)My name means "forest"
Lets reflect on the above.
#3 is because of #1. I slept on top of my bed with only a fleece blanket and was so cold that I cocooned into a torpedo, sleeping on my whole right arm and whole left arm. When my alarm went off I couldn't move. I had to use my abs to pull myself around in order to hit my snooze with my 2nd toe. My snooze is set at 9 minutes and I did have to do this more than once. My arms just didn't want to wake up.
So that leaves #2 and #4.
News Flash: I just went to rub my ear lobe and I have been walking around with a half in half out earring-COULD HAVE LOST IT. Please don't buy me earrings. It is truly out of the kindness out of my heart that I say that. When I was filling my new jewelry stand I noticed all of the earrings I only have one of or just haven't seen for quite some years. Leave that responsibility up to me. I deserve the guilt.
No pics this time...well here is a quick one.
Now I have to describe it though...
These are coasters that I am trying to complete for some Christmas presents (I know I know).
They look better than my first one right!?!!!?!
Well I don't know how but I must have started off on really bad terms with this sewing machine. Nathalie can be using it with no problem and I will come over and watch her and- IT JAMS. I use it and I break 3 needles in a row. I get knots, jams, and threads in places you shouldn't.

Go BIG or go HOME
This is what we use for toothpicks around here.
It's not because we don't have any standard ones, it is just because, ok this is all we have. We are very frugal around here.
I hope the 4 pictures below motivate you. Here in our apartment we sort of started a kick-off after going through and donating clothes. Today I went through those bins that can get carried away at times. I have a few pics just for evidence and maybe also to help with that motivation. When it came to my nail polish, if I couldn't tell what color it was after 3 shakes of the bottle, it had a nice trip to the trash. I also noticed I must have a fear of running out of deodorant?? 4 sticks stocked up and ready I guess. I also went through the sock and underwear drawer. I must have lost those pictures...

Gettin' Hot in Herrree
When I was playing today, I thought I was really getting into my song because my rear end started to get extremely warm. So warm that I stopped playing to evaluate the situation (or cool off). Turns out my heating pad had fallen down from my poor back and I had been sitting on it. There are 4 settings on it and I always have it cookin' on the 4th one so yes-my buns were on fire.
This is so true that it made me laugh and I had to use it. It is hard to find a country song with more than three chords (not counting the bridge). It also gave me an excuse to play around with my camera.
I got rid of some clothes this morning! You can't really tell when you look at my closet though. For some reason I still kept my soccer "jersey" t-shirt from 3rd grade. It still fits because back then it was down to my knees.

Learn from the best.
Mom, please don't resist the urge to leave a comment-you know you love him more than your 2 children.

You don't need to tell me...I know they look good.
Tagalongs are by far my favorite cookie of all time. No matter how sick I feel I can always still finish my third box in one sitting. I mean there is only 15 per box, they go down quick. I figured it was a blessing that they are not able to be purchased year round. Ya know, only when the girl scouts are outside of Walmart and you happen to have $3.50 on you? So I googled "home made Tagalongs" the other day.
I only made half of what the recipe called for. It was either because I was afraid they would be horrible and not live up to the true beauties, or that I would eat them all before bed, or that I only had 1 stick of butter and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla left and the recipe called for twice that amount. It started out just grand when I went to go get the 3 ingredients I needed.
1st ingredient needed- I forgot
2nd ingredient needed- What the heck is cocoa butter and where do you find it other than the lotion aisle??
3rd ingredient needed-I bought milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
Needless to say I had to sleep on all of this and wake up and make them on a fresh day without the embarrassment. And after I picked up peanut butter and realized that I could use vegetable oil instead of cocoa butter.
Besides the rich milk chocolate, they turned out amazing.
This is what the real deal looks like.

I can't believe I just did a whole post on Tagalong cookies.

In with the new
It is already time to start writing 2011... I feel like every year it takes a few weeks to adjust to the new number when writing down the date. Today at work I realized that this year, there is no "adjustment phase" for me. I have patted the end of 2010 on the back (knowing I did a job well done) and realize that this next year is going to be one of the most exciting phases in my life. If everything works out that is. But I have learned that things will always work out and that everything happens for a reason. I am so thankful for my faith, friends, and family. So much that I can't think about it without my eyes getting a little moist. My 3 F's if you wish.
My 4 day weekend took a big tole on my -once full- Christmas wine rack. Needless to say it was a good New Years.
I suppose I could take the tag off of it now. Don't worry Mom I liked the present.
Maybe my new years resolution will be to research a little harder on a question I have had since I have moved into our apartment in May...
Can you get to the top of that cliff?
This is the view from our living room and I have always wondered if you can get to the top of that middle hump. I have always wanted to get there because I feel like the view would be amazing from all 360 degrees. I have tried to drive there twice and have just gotten lost. After staring at this picture I have decided that I should start off on foot from our place. I have to end up there if I just keep my compass pointed straight, right? It might be private property. If thats the case-then mad props to the owner. I think it would be the best spot in town.
This is one of the very first pictures I took with my camera. It was at sunset and the rock looked like it was glowing. I couldn't quite figure out how to capture it with all the 27 settings. I will let you know if I get my question answered and make it to the top!
